  • Ultimate Guide of Tactical Gloves
    Dec 28, 2023
In this blog post our tactical gear experts offer some helpful tips on how to choose tactical gloves. Glove Technology Adjustability Breathability Hand Protection Reinforced Knuckle Protection Impact Resistance Insulation Touchscreen Waterproof Glove Fabric Adjustability One size does not fit all when it comes to choosing the best tactical gloves for your needs. The better the fit, the more comfortable, dexterous, and tactile your gloves will be.   Since tactical gloves tend to stretch with time and use, choose a snug comfortable fit when breaking in new gloves. That said, you don’t want a pair that is too tight. They should feel natural and not restrict your movement.     Hooks and loop Velcro wrist straps are also a good idea. They help adjust the fit and make it easier and quicker to put on and take off the gloves. Breathable Gloves Breathable tactical gloves may also be high on your priority list. They are not designed to keep your hands warm and won’t make your hands hot and sweaty. In fact, they reduce sweating by absorbing moisture.     Breathable fabrics like nylon, mesh, polyester, and thermoplastic rubber tend to be thin, fit snugly, and offer maximum dexterity, making them ideal for use in hot weather. Some even have touch screen capability and include leather palms for durability. Hand Protection Reinforced Knuckle Protection Depending on the purpose of the gloves, some gloves have added protection i.e knuckle, palm or fingers. Consider the area on the glove that will have the most stress and where your hands will need to most protection. Impact Resistance Impact-resistant work gloves protect working hands where high-impact energies are experienced. If you work with high-impact tools, Impact-resistant gloves are a great way to minimize the impact on your hands. Insulation Check the insulation. If you’re planning to use the gloves during cold weather, you need a pair that can protect your hands from extremely low temperatures. Because they’ll keep your hands safe from freezing, insulated tactical gloves will ensure more efficiency and safety when outdoors during the cold season.   Touchscreen Not all gloves have this feature though but those that do allow you to operate all modern technical devices, from smartphones to in-car entertainment systems. Glove Fabric Leather – Goat, cow and sheep leather are common. Comfortable, tough and water resistant yet slippery when wet. Polyester – Breathable, absorbs sweat, but not water resistant. Nylon – Tough and flexible and often used to add dexterity to joints in leather gloves. Spandex – Flexible and stretchy, offering great dexterity. Thinsulate – Very thin and dexterous offering better insulation than fleece. Nomex – Used in the fire industry, Nomex safety tactical gloves are fire resistant. Kevlar – Slash and cut resistant and commonly used by law and military personnel. Neoprene Gloves – Water resistant (used in wetsuits) and a great insulator against heat and cold. Thermoplastic Rubber – Water resistant and commonly used for palm and knuckle padding, and to provide grip.   These are guide for the style and the fabric of tactical gloves. Our website update lately with the gloves style. Keep follow up and partner with us. You're always welcome. We keep share our experience and our professionalism. Merry Christmas too to lucky you.

  • Types of Tactical Belts
    Dec 08, 2023
One of the most confusing things about tactical belts can be deciding which type you want to buy. Below, we will go over the four general categories of tactical belts, what materials they are made from, and what they do best. EDC Tactical Belt The EDC or “everyday carry” tactical belt is likely the most common tactical belt worn. This is not exactly a type of belt but more of a collection of belts that fall into this category. These belts need to be comfortable, most prefer them to be somewhat stylish, and most importantly, they need to be capable of carrying more weight than a standard belt.  EDC tactical belts are typically worn by people who commonly need to carry extra weight on their belts and they do not want it to sag. For example, a loaded Glock 43x weighs just a touch over 23oz. To hold nearly 1.5lbs of weight you need a belt that is designed for it. This is where EDC belts come into play. EDC belts are typically manufactured from nylon or leather and designed to support the additional weight of firearms, flashlights, multi-tools, and whatever else you want to wear on your belt!  Duty/Law Enforcement Tactical Belts A duty/law enforcement tactical belt is a heavy-duty belt that is designed to carry a lot of weight. When fully loaded, a police officer’s belt will often weigh over 20lbs. Their belts are designed to be comfortable yet rigid and strong. Duty/law enforcement belts are usually constructed of nylon or even in some cases, leather. Duty and law enforcement tactical belts come in varying widths. The most common duty/law enforcement tactical belt widths range from 1.5in to 2.25in wide. The wider belts are usually two pieces with an inner and outer belt. They also come in varying stiffness and strength options. For example, many companies sell a nylon 2-ply 1.5in wide law enforcement belt and a stronger nylon 3-ply 1.75in belt.  Light Duty Tactical Belts Light-duty tactical belts are typically lighter, narrower, and hold less weight than a duty/law enforcement belt. These belts tend to be more comfortable and easier to wear for long periods. This type of belt is even lighter than the belts in our EDC category.  That said, some people prefer to wear light-duty tactical belts every day. They are perfect for people who do not want to load up their belts with lots of gear and maybe just need to carry one or two lighter items. These belts are also generally much nicer to wear in the summer or hot climates than other belts. That is because they are lighter, tend to be cooler to wear and they dry easier than heavier belts. Heavy Duty Tactical Belts Heavy duty tactical belts also known as rigger belts are great all-purpose belts that will work for everything other than formal occasions when you need to wear dress pants.  These belts are incredibly strong and if you buy a quality one, very comfortable. This belt is in between the EDC tactical belt and the duty/law enforcement belt categories. It is stronger than an EDC belt yet not quite as strong as a duty/law enforcement belt. This is usually perfectly fine for the average person who is not consistently carrying 20-plus pounds of gear on their belt.  Material Webbing for Belts As a material, webbing plays a crucial role in various applications. It's frequently used in industries such as hiking/camping, outdoors, military, pets, and sporting goods. But, what makes different types of webbing stand out from each other? Let's discuss the differences between polypropylene, polyester, and nylon webbing.   POLYPROPYLENE WEBBING Polypropylene webbing is composed of thermoplastic synthetic polymer that is known for its durability, strength, and resistance to water. It is a cost-effective webbing that can withstand harsh weather conditions and is highly flexible. It's often used in outdoor equipment due to its excellent UV protection and mold resistance qualities. Polypropylene webbing is not affected by oils, chemicals, and acids. However, it is not advisable to use it as a heavy-duty webbing since it has a lower melting point.   POLYESTER WEBBING Polyester webbing is a very popular webbing choice because it's highly resistant to water, mildew, and UV light. It's a strong and durable material that can hold up against sunlight, abrasion, and harsh weather conditions. Polyester webbing is an excellent choice for outdoor use, backpacks, and luggage straps since it can withstand extreme temperatures (-40°F to 257°F). Though it's not as strong as nylon, it's still one of the most sought-after choices because it's affordable and comes in a variety of widths and styles to meet your needs.   NYLON WEBBING   Nylon webbing is made of nylon fibers that are known for their strength, durability, and high resistance to wear and tear. It can withstand heavy loads, harsh climate conditions, and chemicals. This makes nylon webbing an ideal material for making military equipment, harnesses, and belts. Nylon webbing is unmatched for high abrasion applications but doesn’t do as well as polypropylene or polyester webbing with water. Nylon is still a good choice for outdoor webbing due to its high tensile strength – it’s not known to break or snap as easily as other materials.

  • BEST Travel Backpack: Variety in One Blog Save Your Tough Choice
    Dec 01, 2023
There’s something so freeing about traveling with only one bag. All of your important stuff is within arm’s reach, and it forces you to cut down on many of life’s seemingly necessary consumer goods that you can probably live without. With one bag, you easily glide from location to location, always having just enough but never too much. In this post I am going to channel all of that experience and knowledge in order to answer, what is the best travel backpack? Join me as I explore several bags and what makes them more or less suitable for each person’s specific needs. 1 Rucksack Backpack 80L SPEC FEATURES HIGHLIGHT Size: 40L 900D Oxford Cloth Dimension: 72*35*28cm Color Available: Mud, Green, Russian Camo, CP Weight: 2.8kg Compartments Enough   2 Laptop Backpack 45L SPEC FEATURES HIGHLIGHT Size: 45L 800D Oxford Cloth Dimension: 30*15*49cm Color Available: Black, Tan, Green, MC, Black Weight: 0.21kg Waterproof   3 Alice Backpack 50L   SPEC FEATURES HIGHLIGHT Size: 50L 800D Oxford Cloth Dimension: 58*37*24.5cm Color Available: Green Weight: 1kg Alumina Iron Frame   4 Hiking Backpack 65L Camo SPEC FEATURES HIGHLIGHT Size: 65L 800D Oxford Cloth Dimension: 72*30*23cm Color Available: Camo Weight: 1kg Large Capacity   How to Choose the Fit Backpack? HIKING BACKPACK DURABILITY RATINGS   DENIER RATING (D) Most common measure in the market. Simply put, a higher denier score means a heavier overall fibre which in turn means more durability assuming the packs in comparison are made from the same material. An 800D Nylon backpack is stronger or more durable than a 400D Nylon backpack. However, you will need to check the Tensile scores (strength to linear density ratio) as well when it comes to comparing two different materials like Nylon against Ripstop fabric or Polyester.   THREAD COUNT (T) It is the measure of how tightly a fabric is woven in the production phase. It counts horizontal and vertical threads per square inch of the fabric. Same as the D, the higher the number the stronger the fabric. GRAMS PER SQUARE METER (GSM) GSM value reflects the weight of the fabric and is usually a good indicator of its thickness and density as well. Sometimes you might end up seeing this measure in backpack specs especially if textiles such as canvas are used in the production of a backpack. A higher score means a more durable fabric, all other factors being equal.   TENACITY It is important to keep in mind Tenacity, even though it is never provided in product specifications. It is the strength to linear density ratio of a material and helps us to compare various materials used in the production of backpacks. For example, a Nylon 6 backpack has a higher Tenacity score and will be more abrasion resistant when compared to a Polyester backpack.

  • Injection Process of Safety Shoes
    Nov 24, 2023
Today our topic is about the injection process of safety shoes.   Safety Shoes Safety shoes are a general term for Safety Shoes and protective shoes. They generally refer to footwear worn in different workplaces to protect feet and legs from foreseeable injuries.   General safety shoes are composed of these accessories, including outsoles, midsoles, insoles, toe caps, leather, eyelets, sandwich mesh, shoelace or other fabrics.   Injection Molding Injection molding refers to a model with a certain shape, which is formed by injecting molten colloid into the mold cavity through pressure. The process principle is: melt the solid plastic at a certain melting point, and inject it into the mold at a certain speed through the pressure of the injection machine. Inside, the mold solidifies the plastic through water channel cooling to obtain the same product as the designed mold cavity. It is mainly used for the molding of thermoplastic plastics and can also be used for the molding of thermosetting plastics.   Injection pressure process, also known as injection process. The base making process is roughly similar to the molding process. It is characterized by high production efficiency and low cost, and plastic is resistant to oil and insulation. The injection molding process is suitable for the production of shoes for civilian, travel, and labor protection use. Pressing shoes are relatively stronger. Shoe pressing uses strong pressure to press the upper and sole together. The pressure of normal movement cannot exceed this pressure, so it is not easy to open the mouth. The injection process was successfully developed by the German DESMA company in the 1970s and used in footwear production. After decades of technological improvements and upgrades, computer-controlled automated production has been achieved. It is currently the most advanced shoemaking process, and is used in internationally renowned sports shoes such as PUMA and ADIDAS. Manufacturers have successively purchased DESMA injection shoe machines for the production of sports shoes and running shoes to reduce the weight of the shoe body, increase the rebound and anti-seismic effect, make it sturdy and durable, and improve the friction coefficient. Since the whole process of DESMA injection shoe machine production is controlled by computers, some of the unstable factors caused by manual control of the injection molding process have been changed, so the quality has been improved again. The DESMA injection shoe machine uses high temperature and high pressure to inject the PU/TPU original solution from the bottom of the shoe into the outsole mold, and tightly adheres to the leather-polished upper and foot. Through the action of high pressure, the PU/TPU original solution penetrates into the cortex. It achieves a firm and non-degumming effect, and uses a secondary injection process to improve the outsole's wear resistance, anti-skid, shock-resistant cushioning, and improve wearing comfort. Injection Process The complete injection process includes preparation before molding, injection process and post-processing of the product. 1. Preparation before molding In order to make injection molding proceed smoothly and ensure product quality, a series of preparations such as raw material pretreatment, barrel cleaning, preheating inserts and selection of release agents are required before production. 2. Injection process The injection process generally includes: feeding-plasticizing-injection-cooling-demoulding. 1) Adding ingredients: Since injection molding is an intermittent process, quantitative (constant volume) feeding is required to ensure stable operation, uniform plasticization, and ultimately obtain high-quality plastic parts. 2) Plasticization: The molding material undergoes heating, compaction and mixing in the barrel of the injection machine, and is transformed from a loose powdery or granular solid state into a continuous homogenized melt. 3) Injection: The plunger or screw starts from the metering position in the barrel and applies high pressure through the injection cylinder and piston to push the plasticized plastic melt through the barrel. The front-end nozzle and the pouring system in the mold quickly feed into the process of closing the mold cavity. Injection can be subdivided into three stages: flow filling, pressure maintaining and feeding, and reverse flow. 4) Cooling: When the plastic in the pouring system has frozen, it is no longer necessary to continue maintaining pressure, so the plunger or screw can be returned to remove the plastic in the barrel. The pressure of the material melt is increased, and new material is added. At the same time, cooling media such as cooling water, oil or air are introduced into the mold to further cool the mold. This stage is called cooling after the gate freezes. In fact, the cooling process begins when the plastic melt is injected into the mold cavity, and it includes the period from mold filling, pressure holding to demoulding. 5) Demolding: The mold can be opened after the plastic part is cooled to a certain temperature, and the plastic part is pushed out of the mold under the action of the ejection mechanism. 3. Post-processing of products 1. Annealing: eliminate residual stress; 2. Humidity adjustment: Stabilize the color, performance and size of plastic parts. The essentiality for a high quality pair of Safety Shoe could not be emphasized more especially for industrial employees. In extreme operations, the feet plays a vital role in productivity & efficiency of work. With this in mind, Injection Safety Footwear are imperative for operations for the reason that that it provides the needed security, safety, flexibility & comfort for the feet and at the same time they are most apt for agile movements. These aspects make the Injection Safety Footwear pivotal in Safety Shoe making. The Injection safety footwear are created from a unique last. The last is the form in which the shoe gets its shape as well as fit. Computer aided design redefines the manufacturing and creates the final layout or pattern of last to ensure that it not only functions well but feel very comfortable all day long. A good structure aids in keeping the feet comfortable and safe. In today’s modern age, the need for highly advanced safety shoe with higher overall performance is more in demand than almost a decade ago.. The computer technologies help in giving the most accurate and capable safety shoe design so that it withstands all weather conditions & performs to user’s satisfaction. The Injection safety footwear also demands the most advanced and durable material to ensure superior performance. Since the shoes enclose the feet, moisture accumulation could occur and that is why a highly reliable lining is used to keep the moisture away from the feet. Good quality leather as well as nylon does the trick to avoid moisture retention. The materials and the structure also provide the essential stability and anti slippage of the foot. If the shoe does not have a reliable stabilizer, the user can experience fatigue and it could consequently result to slippage and of course, injuries.   I hope this blog can give you a better understanding of what safety shoes are and what the injection process is.   For further information or inquiries regarding custom tactical gear solutions, please contact: Partner Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd Address: Room 406, Building No.30, Tian'An Headquarter Center, No. 555 Panyu Avenue North, Panyu District,Guangdong,China Email: sales@pentyegroup.com Website: https://www.partnertactical.com/

  • How to Choose Sleeping Bag
    Nov 17, 2023
DIFFERENT TYPES OF SLEEPING BAGS 1. RECTANGULAR Rectangular bags are the most traditional sleeping bag — roomy, with plenty of space to stretch or roll over, rectangular bags lean more toward comfort than warmth. Because rectangular bags are larger than other types of bags, they don’t retain as much heat. That makes them a common choice for warm-weather camping. As an added benefit, if you get too hot while sleeping or if the weather is unexpectedly muggy, you can unzip a rectangular sleeping bag and use it as a comforter instead. While rectangular sleeping bags don’t retain as much warmth as semi-rectangular or mummy-style bags, they provide plenty of space to move, which is helpful for restless sleepers or campers who might feel a little claustrophobic in a more form-fitting bag. 2. SEMI-RECTANGULAR Structurally, semi-rectangular sleeping bags are similar to mummy-shaped bags. However, unlike the mummy, semi-rectangular sleeping bags don’t completely conform to the shape of your body. Also called a barrel or modified mummy shape, semi-rectangular bags can come in a variety of shapes. Most models are generally more slender than rectangular bags, with a rounded top and a slight tapering at the bottom.   Semi-rectangular bags aim to find the perfect balance between warmth and roominess, so you don’t have to completely sacrifice wiggle room for the sake of heat retention. That makes them well-suited for cool-weather camping when conditions are chilly, but not frigid. 3. MUMMY As their name suggests, mummy sleeping bags are meant to fit snugly. Hooded and shaped to follow the contours of a human body, mummy bags are all about warmth. Their design doesn’t account for roominess — if you roll over, you’re likely to roll with your bag instead of inside it. However, the fitted shape provides maximum heat retention, keeping you warm in bitterly cold conditions. The science behind it is straightforward — to maximize heat, mummy bags minimize the amount of air space around your body in the bag. This low air space means your body will quickly heat the air inside the bag, and less air gets pushed out of the bag when you shift or move while you’re asleep.   Mummy bags are also typically lighter than many other sleeping bag shapes, making them a popular choice for backpackers. 4. DOUBLE Double sleeping bags are for couples who want to sleep together while camping. Roomy enough to comfortably fit two adults, double bags are typically wider versions of a rectangular bag, but it’s possible to find double versions of barrel and mummy bags as well.   With the right bags, you can make a DIY double sleeping bag. Some single-sized rectangular bags have special zippers that can attach to another bag — if you and your partner purchase the same brand and model, you may be able to create a makeshift double-sized sleeping bag.

  • Production techniques of military boots
    Oct 27, 2023
There are many conditions that are required to make a good quality military boot, from the initial design to the final molding, and the steps involved are complex and detailed. The selection of the face material, the design of the sole pattern, and the research of the molding process... Each step requires strict control and rigorous operation. Only by doing every step carefully, we can make boots like art. A crucial step in the shoes making process is molding. It refers to the technique and method of assembling the shoe parts such as the upper and the sole to become a shoe product. The Chinese shoe-making process has been using the hand-stitching process for a long period of time. Since the 20th century, advanced technology and special equipment have been introduced from abroad, and the shoe-making process has developed rapidly. The forming process of military boots has been selected and finalized: gluing, false seams, Goodyear, mold pressing and so on. Today we will introduce these several processes in detail:   1. Cement Also known as the cold-adhesive process, it is a process that uses an adhesive to join the upper, the insole, and the outsole together. Due to the different materials of the upper and the sole bonding surface, the type and nature of the adhesive used are different, such as neoprene adhesive, polyurethane adhesive, SBS adhesive and the like. Because of the simple process of the gluing process, short production cycle, high production efficiency, low manufacturing cost, fast change of color variety, and easy expansion and reproduction, it is also widely used in the manufacture of military boots. The adhesive strength of our company's military boots is completely in line with or even exceeds the adhesive standard. After the molding, the rubber spot cleaning is also very clean. This 7239 desert boots is made of adhesive technology, beautiful and characteristic and the sole also have very outstanding fastness. 2. Goodyear process   Goodyear process is a unique process for the world's top footwear. Named after Sir Charles Goodyear, who invented the "Goodyear Stairs Structure Shoes making Technique". It has been nearly 200 years old.   In 1875, Goodyear was introduced to Europe along the sewing machine to inject fresh blood into the traditional European handmade footwear industry. With the development of the shoe-making machinery, the traditional technology that prevents the hand-made shoes from being completely preserved, and the advanced Goodyear process has become more sophisticated.   The uniqueness of the Goodyear process is that when sewing shoes, the inner edge and the outer edge strip are double-sewn, and the upper and the sole are firmly integrated into one body to withstand any impact and twist. A cavity is formed between the midsole and the outsole, which can be separated from the moisture and a layer of cork is laid to ensure maximum breathability of the shoes.   In addition to ensuring a thorough wicking function, a natural footprint is formed on the sole. In the first 15 days or so of the customer's wearing, the sole will reshape and become a pair of feet in accordance with the force of the foot. “Personal sole” achieves a comfortable fit when walking.   The military boots with Goodyear bottom are comfortable and durable, and the large bottom of the seam has many advantages. It can adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction of the upper and the sole in the environment with large temperature change. It is more suitable for the foot type, and the folding pressure is not easy to break. However, the waterproof performance is slightly worse. Since Goodyear requires two seams, it is produced a little slower than glue.   3. Mold pressing It is a process for bonding the outsole and the upper together by using the rubber outsole to produce the rubber flow and the clamping pressure generated during the vulcanization process of the mold. The outsole and the upper are adhesively bonded under the high temperature and high pressure of the rubber, so the molded shoe process has the characteristics that the bottom is firmly bonded and is not easy to be opened, wear-resistant and resistant to bending. Due to the long production cycle of molds and the slow change of color varieties, the molded shoes are suitable for the production of large batches of products. Our military and police shoes are used very much.     The material of the military boots is mostly leather, and the molding process is a mold vulcanization process derived from the mold less vulcanization process. It is more suitable for leather shoes. Our company's jungle boots series use more mold pressing technology, this classic camouflage Jungle boots are representative.   Difference between cement shoes and injection shoes   1. Different processes   Injection shoe is a process of injecting PU raw material into the outer mold and gluing the upper with a continuous injection molding machine. The process is characterized by automatic feeding, metering, foaming, injection, die closing, die opening, forming. The technology of cold bonding shoes is to apply glue to the joint of sole and upper manually, and then glue through heat treatment.   2, different characteristics   Injection shoes because the use of PU raw materials, uniform material, corrosion resistance, sole and upper surface is not unglued, outsole resistance to breaking, wear resistance, waterproof, low-carbon environmental protection. Cold glue shoes because of the use of glue, the sole and help surface easy to unglue, not waterproof, glue in the benzene is harmful to human body.   3. Different cost and price   Injection molded shoes are produced in large quantities, so they are cheap. Cold glue shoes daily output is small, the price is higher, generally suitable for medium and above factory production ability to form scale.   4. Different production methods   The difference between injection molded shoes and cold adhesive shoes is that injection molded shoes are made by machines. Cold glue is what we generally call hand-made shoes. The most obvious feature is the sole. There is a line on the heel or edge of the injection shoes, which is because the shoes are left by the mold. The one on the cold soles is on the side where the top and sole are bonded, so it is not visible.     The most obvious feature that distinguishes cold-bonded and molded shoes is the sole. The molded shoes have a line at the heel or along the edge, because of the mark left when the shoes are molded. There is no thread at the heel or edge of a cold adhesive shoe.

  • What You Should Know Before Buying Socks
    Oct 27, 2023
Choosing the right kinds of socks for the knit technique, as well as the right weaving method for your mood and the most suitable material for comfort and performance involves many different decisions to be made. Done correctly, matching socks so that they are ‘fit for purpose’ really does become a sort of art form.    A. Different Types of sock materials Once you have worked out what types of socks you need, the next step is to choose what they are made out of. Many factors will affect your choice of materials, from appearance to how they feel; durability or price. While there are many different types of socks material, here is a run-down of four of the most popular.   Cotton Cotton has long been a popular choice of sock material and it does offer many advantages. Cotton is naturally derived, can hold its shape and colour well and tends not to be too expensive. Check the sewing of your cotton socks for irritating seams around the toes and heels, as these can lead to blisters or discomfort on the feet.   However, seamless cotton socks do exist and provide a soft and comfortable experience. Cotton is strong on its own but becomes even more appealing when mixed with a synthetic material, such as nylon or polyester. This adds elasticity and increases durability. Cotton socks look attractive and classy for a dressy or formal look; however, they are less suitable for working out or sporting activities as other materials are better at keeping moisture and odours at bay.   Wool Socks have been made out of wool for much of history, and the warm, wrinkle-resistant material remains just as popular today. The natural fibres hold their shape well and are easy to wash. Wool absorbs moisture and odour and keeps its insulating properties even when wet. It also dries quicker than other materials, such as cotton.   Wool does have a few disadvantages, however, including most manufacturers’ recommendations to wash woollen socks by hand and to dry them flat to keep them looking good for longer, rather than simply bunging them into the washing machine and letting them take their chance with the rest of the laundry. Also, if you choose lower grade wool, you may find that your socks cause some itching. The smoother wools to choose tend to be higher quality varieties, such as merino or cashmere.   Bamboo Bamboo is a relatively new arrival on the socks scene. It offers undeniable advantages in the guise of softness, sustainability and the ability to keep feet fresh and cool. Bamboo has natural anti-microbial properties, meaning that it is a highly-effective hypoallergenic choice for people with skin issues, diabetes or other medical conditions.   Bamboo is an ecologically sound choice too, thanks to the sustainable methods by which it is grown and sourced. Finally, bamboo is soft and cosy, yet light and breathable. Perfect to take on holiday and it can fold up really small in the suitcase and is easily washed and will help your feet stay fresh for hours of walking and sightseeing.   Synthetics (nylon, polyester…)   Nylon, polyester and other synthetics are an extremely viable choice for socks, thanks to their abilities to keep moisture away, dry quickly and keep your feet cool in the summer months. They tend to hold their shape well, too. Nylon and polyester are easily available and used for socks and stockings of all lengths and styles. It is strong, stable and soft, retains dyes and dries quickly. Synthetics can often be added to natural fibres, such as wool, cotton or bamboo to make the fabric more stretchy, stronger and better able to hold its shape.   Here’s a chart that will help you choose the right sock fabric as per needs and occasion. Need Best Sock Fabric Worst Sock fabric Durability Cotton, Spandex, Nylon, Bamboo, Polyester, Polypropylene Cashmere Comfort and Cushioning Wool, Cashmere, cotton, Merino, Bamboo – Compression Polypropylene, Spandex, Polyester Wool, Cashmere Sweat and wick moisture Polypropylene, Polyester, Cotton Wool, Polyester, Cashmere, (other), Nylon  Lightweight Nylon, Cotton, Bamboo Wool Warmth Cotton, Wool, Cashmere, Merino –  Types of fabric for making socks as per the occasion   Occasion Best Fabric Worst Fabric Work Bamboo, Polyester, Cotton – Lounging Cotton, Cashmere, Wool Nylon, Spandex Formal Cotton, Nylon, Spandex, Bamboo, – Winter Wool, Cashmere, Cotton Polypropylene, Bamboo Summer Polyester, Bamboo Cashmere, Wool Sports and athletic Bamboo, Cotton, Nylon, Spandex, Polyester Cashmere, Wool Hiking and outdoor Merino, Bamboo, Wool, Polypropylene Cashmere, Polyester B. What are the different sock lengths? Finally, a massive part of sock style is getting the length right. Too long, and you run the risk of your socks overpowering your outfit, or simply looking ungainly and wrong. Too short and you may not have given your feet adequate protection for the outfit you are wearing, or the activity you are doing. You can also make an outfit look unfinished or unbalanced with too short a pair of socks or the wrong types of socks.   Ankle socks Ankle socks suit lower cut shoes, such as loafers, trainers and gym shoes. Along with slip-on socks, they are designed to protect the feet without showing above the shoe to give the impression that you are not actually wearing any socks at all. They look understated, yet add a nice finishing touch to a casual look. Team them with good quality gym, athletic or running gear or casual jeans and t-shirt outfit.   Crew length socks Crew length socks come a little further up your foot, reaching about six to eight inches up your leg to your calf muscles. This is a highly popular length, especially for kids socks, as it helps protect young feet and ankles from insect bites, blisters and splashes from puddles etc. Crew length socks and the very similar quarter-length socks suit physical activities as they are informal, yet sturdy. They are also a great way to keep your feet and ankles warm during the winter months.   Calf-length socks Calf-length socks tend to be more popular with men, especially those who enjoy sports and fitness activities. They offer added protection and warmth, stopping further up the leg and just below the knee. You can get calf-length socks in a wide variety of materials, including those specially designed to wick away moisture and help keep your feet fresh and ready for a good work out.   Knee-high socks Knee-high socks are the final word in fashionable footwear, as their extended length offers a great canvass for fun designs and quirky patterns. They are a fantastic way to show off your individuality and add a vibrant colour accent to your outfit. Shine at a party and impress the world with your sense of style by investing in a bold selection of knee-high socks. Another ideal use for these types of socks is to provide an extra lining inside longer boots in the winter for added comfort when out in the cold.   Over-the-knee socks Socks that pass the knee and stretch up to the thigh offer welcome versatility and protection for women who enjoy wearing skirts and dresses, whatever the weather, but don’t always want to reach for stockings or tights. Again, bold prints add real individuality, while smooth, flattering colours add the perfect finish touch to any outfit or style.   C. What Is The Difference Between The Single Needle Machine And The Double Needle Machine Of The Sock Knitting Machine? Single-needle socks are referred to as Luokou for short. Luokou has a relatively prominent hair suture, while the front and back sides of double-needle Luokou are the same. The seam is relatively flat and not prominent, and it is more comfortable to wear. There is only one single needle. The needle cylinder, double needle has two needle cylinders, the machine looks like a needle cylinder is reversed on the single needle needle cylinder.   The difference between the products produced by the two machines is that the single barrel cuff is double-layered and used for weaving plain weave and loop. The cuff of the double-cylinder socks is a single layer, and the double-cylinder is used to weave the pattern with a concave and convex feeling.   The sock machine is divided into single needle cylinder and double needle cylinder, and socks are of course divided into single needle and double needle。   Recognition method: turn the sock over and look at the sock tube. If it is the same as the front of the sock, it is a double needle. If it is different, there is a tie line, which is a single needle socks.   The number of needles in the sock machine is the number of needles in the socks.   21 and 32 refer to the thickness of cotton yarn or other plant fibers. The larger the number, the thinner the thread. If it is chemical fiber, it is represented by D. The larger the number, the thicker the thread. Two-way three-color and three-way three-color are also fully computerized, which can be used for up and down needles. Multi-color jacquard and simple horizontal strips are fully computerized with up and down needles. They can be used for horizontal strips. Needle machine and single-needle machine have two-way feeding structure   Double-needle jacquard has no thread ends, single-needle jacquard has thread ends; in terms of weaving effect and overall wearing comfort of socks, double-needle socks are one grade more comfortable than single-needle socks. Rib requires two sets of needles operating in between each other so that wales of face stitches and wales of back stitches are knitted on each side of the fabric.
